Located in Manhattan at 1440 Third Avenue (between 81st and 82nd Streets), this purveyor of high-quality used merchandise greatly facilitates the donation process by mailing you a valuation of the items you donated, making it a snap to claim a tax deduction. They welcome donations of designer and vintage clothing, home furnishings, accessories, children's clothing, books, and artwork. Donations can be dropped off Monday through Friday between the hours of 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM, and on Saturdays between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM.
